These were done within the last month. They are all blind contour drawings, once the outline is done,I look at the drawing to find another starting point.

I decided to dedicate myself to daily blind contour drawings this year. Well, daily, might have been ambitious but I am working up to it. The ones I have done thus far, though, have taught me a lot…

….about love, dedication, the myriad ways of seeing and the extreme focus of letting it all go.

What joyous fun !

Hello again……

….it has been a long time.Longlonglong—-thin,stretched membrane ready to burst into flames or to fill with air and ascend to flight. I had an encounter-with a remarkable woman. One moment of her direct, focused and joyful attention to my project, and here I am with wings again.I say YES-it is dance…….it is about intimacy, about giving and taking, abandonment and first and foremost about IT-Goddess,God,the Universe.

It makes me happy and I am afraid. And,very soon, I will have a lot of time to dedicate to it. A solid mixture…..and any of you reading this: check out “Chronology of water”…..an intense read.

Some more from the same session with Laura…..

Extra large assortment of drawings-to quell the curiosity of Paul ;)

Laura is a MOST inspiring model and her warm-up poses are the absolute best! Thank you so much!

Fun things happened last night between alternating hands and drawing without glasses, plus Erin is a great model!

This week…..

things are a bit delayed, a bit wacky,a bit at a loss for words….or actually, there might be too many words floating around in my brain and picking the right ones would be quite hard and might lead me into a labyrinthine mess.

So,no writing,just a few pictures………..

Arnett sleeping…… I am quite happy with two of them!
